Program Information Eligibility

Students must have completed 12th Standard (HSC) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from a recognized board. Students must also qualify in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG), which is mandatory for admission to medical courses in India.

Duration

The MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) program duration is 5.5 Years, which includes 4.5 Years of Academic Study and 1 Year of Compulsory Rotatory Internship.

Medicine programs are offered under different types of institutions such as:

• Government Medical Colleges
• Government Aided Medical Colleges
• Private Medical Colleges
• Deemed to be Universities

Counselling Process

Medical admissions in Tamil Nadu are conducted through the Directorate of Medical Education and Research Tamil Nadu based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) scores.
