Program Information Eligibility

Students must have completed 12th Standard (HSC) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from a recognized board. Some institutions may also require Biology as a compulsory subject.

Duration

Diploma in Veterinary Science / Animal Husbandry – 2 Years

B.V.Sc. & A.H. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry) – 5 Years (including 6 months internship)

M.V.Sc. (Master of Veterinary Science) – 2 Years (after Bachelor’s Degree)

Ph.D. in Veterinary Science – 3–5 Years (after Master’s Degree)

Counselling Process

Veterinary Science admissions in Tamil Nadu are conducted through state-level counselling by TANUVAS and institution-level admissions in private colleges.
